Microblading Mijas: eyebrow permanent makeup half an hour away, in Málaga
Whether you live in Las Lagunas, La Cala, Calahonda or Mijas Pueblo, it’s worth knowing this first: we don’t have a salon in Mijas. Microblading is done in Málaga city, at BLUSH Estética, and from almost anywhere in the municipality you can get here in 30 to 45 minutes. The centre speaks Spanish, but we can help you in English via WhatsApp.
How to get to our beauty centre from Mijas: real travel times
Mijas is a huge municipality, with the old village up in the hills and several areas along the coast, so the journey varies a lot depending on where you live. Our only salon is at C. Constancia 23, 29002 Málaga, in the city centre next to the Guadalmedina river and near María Zambrano station.

Mijas has no Cercanías station of its own, so most clients from the area come by car and use a paid public car park near the salon. We’re open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00; a mid morning appointment avoids the motorway traffic.
Why it’s worth the trip: microblading eyebrows step-by-step
It’s a two visit cosmetic treatment, not ten. That makes it very manageable even if you live half an hour away:
- A session of about 2 hours. Design, a cream to numb the area and hair-stroke microblading.
- Touch-up after 4 to 6 weeks. We complete whatever the skin didn’t hold. It’s shorter and part of the treatment.
- An annual top-up if you want it. To keep the definition once the colour softens.
Both appointments are done by Antonella, the owner and the only technician, with years of experience in eyebrow, eyeliner and lip permanent makeup. Every client gets the same personal advice from start to finish. Many clients from the coast make the most of the trip with other services at the centre, which also offers facial and body treatments, brow lamination, lash lifts and nails.
Antonella’s tip: before you come, send me a photo of your brows on WhatsApp, without makeup and in daylight. If you have an old tattoo or leftover permanent makeup, I’ll tell you whether we can work over it or whether it needs lightening first.
Who is eyebrow microblading recommended for? Is it a tattoo?
It isn’t a classic tattoo but a semi-permanent makeup technique: a manual tool with tiny needles places pigment in the surface layer of the skin, drawing strokes that mimic brow hair. We especially recommend it if you:
- Want defined, fuller brows without relying on makeup every day.
- Have lost brow hair due to age, stress, hormonal changes or alopecia.
- Have uneven brows, gaps, or a small imperfection or scar you’d like to correct.
- Over plucked for years and the hair no longer grows back the same.

When it isn’t recommended
We don’t do it, or we postpone it, in these cases:
- A skin condition in the area, such as active dermatitis, or a known allergy to pigments.
- Uncontrolled diabetes, anticoagulant medication or a tendency to keloid scars, unless your doctor approves it.

If you have any health questions, check with your doctor or dermatologist first. We are a beauty centre, not a clinic.
Why a personalised design matters
Good work doesn’t stand out: it blends with your face. To personalise each design, Antonella takes into account:
- Shape based on your facial features. The symmetry of your face is measured and the brow is drawn before any pigment, so you can see it in the mirror.
- Colour based on your skin type and hair. The pigment is mixed so it doesn’t heal grey or reddish.
- Technique based on your skin. On very oily skin hair strokes can blur; there microshading or powder brows, or a combination of both, usually works better.
Aftercare for microbladed brows
The goal is natural results: a look that respects your natural beauty, brightens your eyes and enhances your face naturally. To look after that result, follow the post-care advice (no picking, no sun, sauna or pool while healing, a thin layer of balm) and wear sunscreen on your brows, especially with the Costa del Sol sun. Do you have a salon in Mijas?
No. We only have one salon, at C. Constancia 23, in Málaga city. The treatment is always done there.
How much does microblading cost in Málaga?
At BLUSH, €270 for hair strokes, plus the touch-up at 4 to 6 weeks, which is part of the treatment (we’ll confirm the terms on WhatsApp). The annual top-up is €170.
How many times do I need to come?
Twice: the session and the touch-up. After that, a top-up once a year if you want to keep the colour.
How long does the result last?

Does microblading hurt?
Most clients describe it as mild discomfort, like a light scratch, thanks to the numbing cream.
Can I drive home afterwards?
Yes. We use a local numbing cream, not sedation, so you can drive back to Mijas when we finish.
