BLUSH Estética · Central Málaga
Microblading Benalmádena: eyebrow microblading 25 minutes away, in Málaga
First things first, so there are no surprises: we don’t have a centre in Benalmádena. The treatment is done at our salon in Málaga city. From Arroyo de la Miel the train takes under half an hour, and by car it’s about 20 to 25 minutes.
Where the beauty centre is and how to get there
BLUSH has a single salon: C. Constancia 23, 29002 Málaga, in the city centre district next to the Guadalmedina river, close to María Zambrano station and El Perchel. Depending on which part of Benalmádena you live in:
- Arroyo de la Miel. Cercanías C1 train from Benalmádena-Arroyo de la Miel station to Málaga María Zambrano, about 25 minutes. From there, under 10 minutes on foot.
- Benalmádena Costa and Puerto Marina. Torremuelle station, or a local bus to Arroyo and then the C1. By car, along the motorway, about 25 minutes.
- Benalmádena Pueblo. The car is the most practical option: about 20 km and 25 to 30 minutes down to the motorway.
If you come by car, plan to use a paid public car park, as there is little street parking near the salon. We’re open Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:00. The centre works in Spanish, but we can help you in English via WhatsApp before and after your appointment.
Why it’s worth the trip
Two appointments, not ten
One session of about 2 hours and a touch-up at 4 to 6 weeks, which is part of the treatment.
Always the same artist
Antonella, the owner, experienced in brow, lip and eye permanent makeup, does the whole process from start to finish. It’s not a rotating team.

What is eyebrow microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo, but not a permanent eyebrow tattoo: it is semi-permanent makeup (some people call it eyebrow embroidery), that is more and more popular in Spain because it enhances your face with a very natural result. It lets you change the eyebrow shape, get fuller brows or even work as eyebrow restoration, recreating a brow almost from scratch when there is hardly any eyebrow hair left.
The microblading technique uses a hand tool with tiny needles, held like a pencil, which draws each hair stroke one by one to mimic natural eyebrow hair, depositing pigment in the upper layer of the skin, above the dermis. That’s the main difference from a traditional tattoo, where tattoo ink goes deeper and stays for life. The design is based on your facial features, your skin type, your hair color and your existing eyebrow, and you see the shaped eyebrow drawn on in the mirror before we start. The pigment used is chosen to blend with your natural hair so the final look is soft, not drawn with an eyebrow pencil.
The microblading process, step by step
- Consultation. You send us a photo on WhatsApp and we tell you whether microblading, shading or both suit your skin.
- Design. At your microblading appointment, Antonella measures and draws the brow shape with you until you’re happy.
- Numbing. A numbing cream is applied to the eyebrow area.
- Microblading session. Stroke by stroke, about 2 hours in total including design.
- Touch-up. 4 to 6 weeks later we perfect the microblading results and fill any gaps.
Microbladed brows usually last 12-18 months, and up to two years, depending on sun exposure and microblading aftercare. Pigments used in microblading fade gradually, so you can adapt the shape to each eyebrow trend.
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients describe it as a light scratching feeling thanks to the numbing cream; several of our reviews say it didn’t hurt at all. If your skin is oily, one alternative is microshading or powder brows.

Aftercare and the healing process
How you look after your microbladed eyebrows in the first few days decides how much pigment stays. We explain everything when we finish, but these are the essentials:
- Don’t wet or rub the treated area for about 10 days.
- Don’t wear brow makeup for at least a week.
- Don’t scratch or pick the scabs: let them fall off on their own.
- Avoid direct sun and UV rays while the skin heals.
- No swimming pool, jacuzzi or sea water during those days, to avoid irritation.
- Avoid anything that makes you sweat a lot: intense exercise, sauna or steam rooms.
- Don’t put creams, serums or any product we haven’t recommended on the brow.
Living on the Costa del Sol, the hardest part is staying away from the sea and the sun. If you can, choose a date outside high summer. The full progression is in the microblading healing stages, day by day.
Antonella’s tip: once your brows have healed, put sunscreen on them every day. Benalmádena has sun almost all year round, and it’s what lightens the colour fastest.
